While designing the House for Pednekar’s we understood they like detailing which is usually followed in the houses inspired by Spanish Architecture and also a bit from Goan Style.
The design elements like arched windows, molding on the slabs, decorative columns, and of course Sloping Roofs.
They also wanted that the house should accumulate all the required needs of space on the Ground Floor itself instead of going on the First Floor.
It was very challenging to accentuate the look of the house without having a height to play.
The only way to make the house look good was to play with the roof design.
We played with the height of the sloped roof by providing unequal heights, giving skylights in the roof, and covering the Roof edges with heavy moldings, which elevated the overall appearance of the house.
